What version of UCCX? I'm pretty sure multiple lines on a phone is not supported. However, from experience I can tell you that the phone does know if you go off-hook on a non-uccx line (it has control of your phone)

Subject: [cisco-voip] UCCX and Personal Line

Line 1 : DN=1000 Personal Extension
Line 2: DN=2000 ICD Controlled Extension

Agent is "Read"y, makse a personal call on Line 1, does UCCE/UCCX have any way of knowing the user is on Line 1? I don't think so. I'm thinking the Agent needed to go "Not Ready" before making his personal calls on line 1. Training issue.
