[cisco-voip] CME Fax Problem Explanation?

Hi Nick.  Thanks for the reply  How exactly would I do that (check for slips).

This is all I really have for configuration of the VG204 that we have.
voice service voip
 fax protocol pass-through g711ulaw

I was told you could configure the speed at which faxes are sent.  You think this would fix my problem?  I found out that the fax machines in the branch office are those Super G3 fax machines.

The connection we have is a T1.  Not sure what's on the corporate side but I assume it's a T1 as well.

Check your connections to corporate for slips on T1s.  It's the easy culprit.  Otherwise, packet loss or a lack of fax configuration.

When they try to fax things to corporate (in another state), they get errors about a poor connection and the fax doesn't send.
