[cisco-voip] Cius Feedback?

My support provider on Monday (as in 1 week ago today) called me and let me
know that Cisco seems to have "flipped the switch" and will only allow
downloads on a maintenance contract.

Really sucks for us, since we don't carry smartnet on the phones.
(Seriously, we've done the math, the 1 broken (maybe) phone a year we get
does not equal the cost of smartnet for the phones we've got out there.)

I'll talk with my account manager, and express my wish that the phone Load
is part of CUCM, and should be entitled that way. But no fix for the
moment.
