[cisco-voip] BIOS upgrades and Call Manager????

What server is he running on, example, MCS-7835-H2, MCS-7825-I4,
MCS-7835-H1?

There are some things that have come up that require firmware upgrades,
 There have been several examples over the last few years of harddrives
going readonly, which require an complete rebuild of the system.  Some of
these firmware upgrades are specific to the harddrive.

But your 100% right that he's gonna need smartnet to fix most of these
issues.

the BIOS upgrade would be to server manufacturer to provide. (Which is
usually free to download)
