[cisco-voip] UCCX 10.5.1SU1 adding a Secondary node for HA

Adam,

That behavior seems to be inline with the documentation, which states:

*If either the primary or secondary Unified CCX server IP address changes,
but not both,*
*there is no need to run CAD Configuration Setup. The next time a client
desktop is started,*
*the automated update feature reinstalls the client desktop and makes the
necessary*
*change.*

In the context of this paragraph, the CAD Configuration Setup is
PostInstall.exe, and not Desktop Client Configuration Tool.

Speaking of the Desktop Client Configuration Tool, the UCCX install guide
does say you have to run it a second time after adding a second node:

*In an HA setup, if calls are to be taken only after both the nodes are
functional, run the Unified CCX*
*Desktop Client Configuration Tool once. Otherwise run it twice—once after
the first node is functional*
*and once more after the second node is functional.*

The documentation is a little light on what's expected of the
administrator. and more importantly, the client workstations, though I do
think Adam, your experience is representative of what's expected. The CAD
software changes/adds the IP Addresses by way of re-installing itself at
next launch, and that requires elevated permissions on the machine.
