The CTS-CTRL-DVX-10 is the original model touch 10 (identifiable by the
USB ports on the side, and the plastic flap over the ethernet jack).
This is supported on all currently shipping endpoints including the IX.
The CS-TOUCH10 is the new model which removed some of the hardware which
wasn't used (audio jack, USB ports) and simplified the ethernet jack on
the back (eliminated the flap which tended to break off). It also can
be identified by the Cisco logo on the bottom of the face and the foot
stand which folds completely flat (done to make wall mounting easier).
This one is only supported on the MX/SX/Room units.
Power injector is required if you're using either one directly connected
to an SX or MX or a RoomKit (RoomKitPlus has PoE for the Touch10
interface). Or you can connect it to a PoE switch and provide power
that way as well. If it's not directly connected to the endpoint, you
will have to give it the IP/admin credentials for the unit to connect to
when you install it.
Also, if you have a Touch10, why bother with the TRC6? If I have a
Touch10, I'm doing everything from that instead of the remote. User
experience is MUCH better/simpler with the Touch10.
One thing that confuses people with the newer CE code is there's no
longer a separate PKG file for standalone upgrades, you just upload the
COP file directly to the endpoint to upgrade it if you aren't pushing it
from CUCM. (Can also use the COP file from TMS if the units are VCS
registered.)
